55 people injured in the accident are undergoing treatment in various hospitals.

A major accident has occurred during a concert in Kochi, Kerala. Four students were killed and 64 others injured after a stampede at a university here. Kerala Health Minister Veena George said that the incident took place at the Cochin University of Science and Technology on Saturday. He said that the condition of four of the injured students is critical.

A tech fest was being organized in the university and singer Nikita Gandhi was performing in the open air auditorium on the campus. Reports say entry was restricted to those who had them. However, the situation changed when the rains started. People waiting outside entered the auditorium to take shelter, leading to a stampede.

At least 64 students are undergoing treatment in various hospitals after the accident. Four of the injured students are said to be in critical condition. George said two boys and two girls were brought dead to the Kalamassery Medical College in Kochi.
He said, “This news is extremely unfortunate. 46 people were brought to Kalamseri Medical College in an injured condition. Four were brought dead, two of whom were boys and two girls. Four are in critical condition. Two of them are in critical condition. Private hospitals and others Two are under treatment in a government hospital.
“18 injured have been admitted to private hospitals. We alerted the hospitals as soon as we came to know about it. A team of doctors is collecting information from the hospitals,” he said.
