Bholu is accused of murdering Prince, a Class 2 student, in the bathroom of a private school in Gurugram on September 8, 2017, nearly six years ago. The Supreme Court categorically refused to entertain any such plea. Said the accused would have to face trial as an adult.
In fact, on September 8, 2017, Prince (name given by the court), a student of a private school was murdered by slitting his throat. Bholu (name given by court) is the accused in this case. In this case, on October 17 last year, the Juvenile Justice Board had also ordered to prosecute Bholu as an adult. After this, the Sessions Court also decided to try the accused Bholu as an adult.
The court took the decision based on the opinion of the psychiatrist
On July 27 last year, after hearing all three parties, the JJ Board asked a psychiatrist who was part of the board’s panel to give his opinion in the case. But later, three psychiatrists from PGI Rohtak submitted a report, after which it was decided to treat the accused as an adult. The defense filed an application against him in the Supreme Court.
