New Delhi. Delhi Police has questioned 4 suspects in the deepfake video case of actress Rashmika Mandanna, who came into limelight from the film ‘Animal’. Recently, a deepfake video of hers went viral, causing a lot of uproar and celebs from Bollywood to South also expressed their anger on social media. Delhi Police took action in this case and interrogated 4 suspects. According to the report, information about 3 of these suspects was obtained by META.

According to reports, the deepfake videos were probably uploaded using a virtual private network (VPN). Delhi Police is continuously investigating the case and looking for the main conspirator.

According to news agency ANI, Delhi Police says four suspects involved in actress Rashmika Mandanna’s deepfake video case have been identified. All the four suspects turned out to be the uploaders and not the creators of the video and now the police are looking for the main conspirator in the case.

In November this year, a morphed video of Rashmika Mandanna went viral on social media. In the clip, a woman with Rashmika’s face was seen boarding the lift. However, it soon became clear that the viral clip was a deepfake. Superstar Amitabh Bachchan also grabbed attention after he took to microblogging site X and demanded legal action. Later, several celebrities including Nani, Vijay Deverakonda, Naga Chaitanya and Mrinal Thakur also expressed concern over the viral video.
